Repair Approval Procedure


VEHICLE OWNER'S Responsibilities
  • Proper maintenance as per your Service Agreement's Terms and Conditions.Retain proof of maintenace (receipts/invoices) and have available at time of claim.Contact Coast To Coast for assistance and repairs to covered parts.Use reasonable means to prevent further damage resulting from a mechanical failure. Sign Work Order authorizing Repair Center to perform diagnosis and prepare estimate.
  • Pay the Repair Center the applicable deductible and non-covered parts.



REPAIR CENTER'S Responsibilities

Before work commences
  • Make sure the customer name and vehicle description and V.I.N. # match those on the customer's Service Agreement.
  • Call Coast To Coast FIRST to inform us that customer and/or vehicle is at your facilities. State current odometer reading and state the idea/description of the problem.
  • Obtain customer's authorization to diagnose cause and estimate cost of repair.
  • Call Coast To Coast for REPAIR APPROVAL NUMBER before ANY work commences.

When repairs are completed
  • Repair invoice must contain:
    • Customer's name and signature
    • Vehicle Year/Make/Model
    • Odometer reading
    • License plate number
    • V.I.N. off of the top of the dashboard
    • Detail description of all work performed
    • Labor hours broken down by labor item
    • Rental invoice must be attached
    • Towing invoice must be attached
    • Copy of all the maintenance records
    • Your parts suppliers Warranty/Guarantee
    • Your Parts/Labor Warranty/Guarantee
  • Also, collect the customer's deductible and payment for any non-covered items/repairs.

Before any repair, call our Claims Center at

2.
Claims Center Hours:
9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Monday to Friday

3.
Have your Application Number and your odometer reading ready.

4.
Use all responsible means to protect your vehicle from further damage.

5.
Have repair establishment call our Claims Center first, prior to any repairs.

6.
Repair establishment must receive Approval and an Authorization Number prior to any repair.
